Library 2.0

In step 15 I read several of the articles about using web 2.0 technologies in libraries. I think the points made have a lot of sense. It says that in the near future (if not now) libraries will need to meet their patrons in the patrons space (on the web)and not only in the library building. I like the point about not needing a collection 'just in case' someone,sometime may have need of it but rather bring information service to the patron using simple, user friendly web technologies.
